Vinotek

1. Service Introduction

Vinotek is an Indonesian electronic certification provider (PSrE, Penyelenggara Sertifikasi Elektronik) operated by PT Vipas Inovasi Teknologi, delivering certified electronic signatures (TTE, Tanda Tangan Elektronik), electronic seals (Segel Elektronik), e-KYC identity verification, and an API layer for embedding signing into business applications.

2. Location

Vinotek is registered and operates in Indonesia, and is listed on the official PSrE register published by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) at tte.komdigi.go.id. Signature verification is supported through the Komdigi verification portal. Learn more

3. Signature Level Support

  • TTE Tersertifikasi (Certified Electronic Signature) — issued under an electronic certificate from a PSrE registered with Komdigi

4. Dependency Requirements

Using Vinotek for signing typically requires:

  • Activated Vinotek account with completed real-name verification (e-KYC) — the signing account must be held by an Indonesian individual
  • Email verification — the signer receives a verification code at the email address registered with Vinotek and records the reason for signing before the signature is completed
  • Signer scope — at present this route covers Indonesian individual signers; legal entities signing on behalf of an organisation are not supported through Vinotek

5. Compliance Description

Vinotek issues electronic certificates within Indonesia’s statutory electronic certification framework: Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE), as amended by Law No. 19 of 2016 and Law No. 1 of 2024, together with Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 (PP 71/2019).

Under PP 71/2019, Article 59 governs the procedures by which an electronic signature is generated and the conditions an electronic signature must satisfy; Article 60 sets out the authentication and verification functions of an electronic signature and the legal consequences that attach to certified versus uncertified signatures. Because the certificate is issued by a PSrE registered with Komdigi, signatures produced through Vinotek fall on the certified-signature route rather than relying only on the general evidentiary standard.

Stamp duty (e-Meterai) obligations under Indonesian tax rules are a separate requirement from signature validity and are not addressed by the signature certificate itself.
